- Scope and Objectives
- Scope: The conference welcomes submissions in the fields of renewable energy and energy efficacy, sustainable design and manufacturing, smart technologies, waste management and recycling, climate change mitigation, and engineering emergencies and solution.
- Objectives: To disseminate cutting-edge research, foster collaboration, and advance knowledge in the field.
2. Submission Guidelines
Originality: Submissions must be original, unpublished work that has not been submitted elsewhere. Authors should ensure their research does not overlap significantly with previously published work.
Format: Manuscripts must be formatted according to the conference’s template. The template can be downloaded from the conference website https://icosiet.fatek.untad.ac.id/ . Submissions should be in PDF format and adhere to a maximum length of 4 to 6 pages.
3. Peer Review Process
All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure unbiased evaluation. Each submission is evaluated for originality, novelty, significance, methodology, and relevance to the conference themes. Authors will receive feedback and may be required to make revisions. 4. Ethical Standards
Plagiarism: All submissions are checked for plagiarism. Any form of plagiarism will result in automatic rejection.
Ethical Compliance: Research involving human or animal subjects must comply with ethical standards and include statements of ethical approval.
5. Revisions and Resubmissions
Revisions: Authors may be asked to revise their manuscript based on reviewer comments. Revised manuscripts should be resubmitted by the specified deadline.
Resubmissions: In cases of minor issues, authors may be invited to resubmit a revised version of the paper. Major issues may lead to outright rejection or require substantial changes.
6. Publication Ethics
Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could affect the impartiality of their research.
Redundant Publication: Submissions that overlap substantially with other work by the same authors may be rejected.
